Daily Stuff

A tiny, feel-good checklist for the things you want to do every day. Simple on purpose.

Use philosophy

Daily Stuff is for the habits and activities you want to show up for—meditate, exercise, drink water, work on your main project, write, run, clean the house, or anything else you want to get done. We call them “stuff,” not “tasks,” because some are for growth, some are chores, and some are just things you like doing.

  • Simple wins: add features only when they keep the app light and calm.
  • Satisfying momentum: checking things off should feel good, not stressful.
  • Important stuff first: keep your list ordered by what matters most.

How it works

Three kinds of stuff

  • Daily, once: do it once each day. Example: “Meditate.”
  • Daily, multiple times: do it several times per day. Example: “Write” or “Work on X.”
  • Weekly goals: do it several times per week. Example: “Run 5 miles (3×/week).”

Your day and week

  • Choose per task when it is active: all week, weekdays, or weekends.
  • Set your week start day (Monday by default).
  • Weekly goals appear every day and can be done or delayed, as long as you finish the total needed by week’s end.
  • Per task, you can choose active days: All week (default), Weekdays (Mon–Fri), or Weekends (Sat–Sun).
  • If a task is inactive on a day, it is hidden that day and not counted as missed.
  • Weekly cadence limits depend on active days: Weekdays max 4, Weekends max 1.
  • Why: if you need 5 times on weekdays, that means every weekday (so it should be a daily weekday task). If you need 2 times on weekends, that means both weekend days (so it should be a daily weekend task).

Pomodoro mode

Mark any daily stuff as Pomodoro. Tapping it starts a focus timer instead of instantly completing it. The default is 25 minutes, and you can set any length you like. We don’t manage your breaks—enjoy them however you want.

Curious? Here’s the Pomodoro Technique.

Setup flow

  • Add stuff with the “+” button.
  • Edit by tapping a line.
  • Delete by swiping left with confirmation.
  • Reorder by long‑press and drag.

Daily list actions

  • Tap to complete a line, or start a Pomodoro if it’s a Pomodoro line.
  • Long‑press a line to reset it, or “I’ll do it tomorrow” for weekly goals.
  • Weekly badge shows how many times are left this week and ticks down as you complete.

The goal

Complete the stuff you care about every day, and hit your weekly goals every week. Keep the most important stuff at the top so it’s the first thing you see.

Simple, satisfying, and built to help you feel good—not rigid or stressful.
